Application of electrode paste as self-baking electrode in submerged arc furnace
The use of high-strength electrode paste was tested in a 20MVA submerged arc furnace. The results show that it can effectively prevent electrode accidents and play a key role in improving the economic indicators of smelting.
The key factors affecting the use of high-strength electrode paste and the changes in the input power of the three-phase electrode are studied.
According to the power consumption of each phase electrode to determine the electrode pressure discharge amount, reduce the conductive area of the electrode shell, and appropriately increase the secondary voltage, all of which are beneficial to the use of high-strength electrode paste.
