The electrode paste failed to be fired well. I think the failure to fire well is one of the main reasons that affect the cracking of the electrode paste.
But in addition to this factor, there are the following reasons that can cause cracking and block loss. I think it should be analyzed from three aspects:
1. The electrode paste formula or raw materials are inappropriate;
If it is caused by this reason, it is difficult for the smelter to solve it. If it is the electrode paste, it will be cracked and broken every day.
2. If it only happens occasionally during production, or even several times a month, it is basically caused by failure to sinter. The operator has not grasped the sintering situation of the electrode and then lowered or extended the electrode.
3. In addition to the above two reasons. If the quality of the raw materials fed into the smelter is not good, such as the coke carbon content is too low, the raw ore contains too much water when entering the furnace, etc., the electrode paste may also crack and break.
